Womb Wrap - Closing The Bones
Creating space for you to be drawn back into self.
Womb wrapping, is a natural, nurturing ceremonial space that can be adapted for different womb/life transitions. Traditionally used for ‘Closing of the Bones’ postnatally.
This sacred practice will be adapted so that you get a unique and bespoke session that not only aids physical recovery but also supports spiritual healing.
Its’ deep and its a beautiful ritual.
Womb wrapping is a closure of the energetic gateway, symbolically closing this space after the openness of pregnancy and childbirth. It helps to relax ligaments around the woman’s pelvis, neck and spine as well as moving the energy and emotions held in the tissues.
A beautiful ritual to embrace at any time in a woman’s journey.
It also helps to increase the connection back to your body, heart and womb space in particular.

Contraindications:
Prolapsed Uterus: The practice involves wrapping and applying pressure to the abdomen and pelvis, which could worsen the prolapse by pushing the uterus further down and might increased discomfort, pain, or pressure during the wrapping process.
Recent Cesarean Section: Women who have had a recent C-section should wait until their scaring is fully healed (recommended from 10 weeks) before undergoing this practice, as the pressure may interfere with recovery.
Pelvic Injuries or Trauma: If the mother has experienced significant pelvic trauma during childbirth, such as fractures or severe tearing, the wrapping process should be postponed until healing is complete.
Postpartum Hemorrhage: Women who have experienced excessive bleeding after childbirth should avoid this practice until they are medically stable, as the pressure could potentially exacerbate bleeding.
Infections: Any active infections in the abdomen, pelvis, or reproductive organs are contraindications, as the wrapping could aggravate the condition.
Severe Pain or Discomfort: If the woman feels intense discomfort or pain in any part of their body, a womb wrap is not recommended.
Medical Conditions: Pre-existing medical conditions, such as cardiovascular issues, blood clots, or high blood pressure, should be evaluated by a healthcare provider before considering the ritual.
